Afternoon folks! I’ve not participated in these prompts before so I decided to give them a whirl! Here’s my contribution to both Sami Scribbles Weekly Writing Prompt who asked us to write a 44 word piece using the word: Opposite and Ragtag Daily Prompt Saturday hosted by our friend Punam who challenged us to write something with the word’s “Lights” & “Shadows”. Hope ye enjoy the read! ππ€ππ
THE OPPOSITE OF LIGHT
The opposite of light
Is where I inhabit
In the corners of the room
The edges of society
In the shadows
Of others
Is where you’ll find me
Most days
Is where I’m most comfortable
Being
Out of the spotlight
The glare of attention
Should you wish to participate in the prompts you can access them through the following links:

This is very true Sadje! πππ― It’s all down to our personalities. And each one has their place. π

Great use of the prompts! I love that you are lurking in the shadowed corners… that allows for better people watching! (not in a creepy way but in observation of the human condition).

There is much to be learned from standing back and observing. An interesting piece indeed.

I would be there with you, Ken, away from the spotlights. This resonated. Thanks for joining in and hope you will continue in future. ππΌπ
