BLOG GOALS FOR THE WEEK AHEAD

Hey folks! Hope ye all had a lovely Christmas full of the people and things you love. 🤞🙏😁😊 I enjoyed my break but it’s good to be back blogging. So, welcome back to my weekly Blog Goals for the Week/Year Ahead where I set out my blog schedule and creative goals for the coming week.It promises to be more of the same great posts you’ve come to know and love plus a few enjoyable changes to the schedule.

Later on we’ll be returning to my Throwback Thursday series of Poetry Readings with a recitation of a piece I wrote back in November 2021 titled: TWO STEPS BACK. Appropriate for this time of year I’m sure you’ll agree when you hear & read it?! 👍😁

On Friday we’ll be reflecting on some more of my favourite poetry quotes, taking lessons from them and applying them to our lives as poets and readers alike.

Saturday will see us post our final motivational running quote of the week for ye folks and exploring some more poetry prompts such as Moonwashed Weekly Prompts and Weave Written Weekly fingers crossed.

Of all this will be closed off on Sunday with my regular Sunday Blog Recap with links to all the blogs I posted during the previous week. TOP 10 BLOG POSTS OF 2022

Well folks! Yes, it’s that time of year again where we look back over the year gone by and see which blog posts were the most popular, which struck a chord most with ye guys & gals. It’s been a quick year and 1 which saw me change things up a bit with the range; quantity and quality of my output. I view my most popular posts as ones which didn’t necessarily receive the most likes but received the most views.

1. In light of that criteria so, the most popular blog post this past year was my the 1st part of my BRILLIANT BLOGGER POET INTERVIEW with the provocative Romanian blogger/poet by the name of Bogdan Dragos with a total number of 219 views. You can find the link to it here:

3. No. 3 on the list was a poignant reflection titled KEEP ON WALKING on tragic; untimely demise of a popular young; local woman by the name of Aisling Murphy. She, unfortunately met her end while out for a run along the local canal back in January. It garnered 133 views. Here’s the link to it:

5. Hope you all had a lovely weekend. 🙏🤞😁 Welcome back to my weekly Blog Goals for the Week Ahead where I set out my blog schedule and creative goals for the coming week. Having already posted my 1st motivational running quote of the week, I’ll get cracking with tomorrow’s lineup. 😀

First up, tomorrow morning I hope to publish my first poem of the week titled TASTE THE FEAR inspired by something my oldest girl Grace said to me last week: “Daddy when you were young and afraid, did you taste the fear? This will be followed up by Sadje’s latest #WhatDoYouSee #WDYS Poetry Image Prompt. On Wednesday, I’ll be sharing my 2nd motivational running quote of the week which will, hopefully, be followed up by a d’Verse inspired Quadrille Prompt. Idea is to write a 44 word poem using a word or theme of their choice.

On Thursday, I plan to publish my 4th poem of the week which will be written in response to d’Verse’s latest Poetics Prompt. Later on that day I hope to return to my Throwback Thursday series of Poetry Readings where I will recite an old poem of mine with a written version of it underneath the video for you to read along with. 🤞😁📖 This week’s poem will be SILVER SCREEN OF MEMORY taken from SNOWSTORM OF DOUBT AND GRACE, my 1st collection of poems.

Then on Friday, I’ll be posting my third motivational running quote of the week followed up my regular Poetry Quotes Blog where we reflect on some favourite poetry quotes of mine, break them down; analyse them & apply the lessons learned to our lives as poets and readers alike.

On Saturday then, I’ll be sharing my last motivational running quote and poem of the week which has yet to be decided. Could be from a Ragtag; W3 Weave Written Weekly or Moonwashed Poetry Prompt. Who knows? 😁 And we’ll wrap it all up with my weekly Blog Recap with links to all the blogs I posted during the previous week.
